ET409 crash: Ocean Alert resumes search for victims, debris

Ocean Alert vessel resumed the search operations in Ras al-Naameh for victims and the debris of the Ethiopian plane flight ET409 that crashed off the Lebanese coast.

Both Lebanese Navy officers and members of a French expert team are on board the ship, according to a Lebanese army statement.

The Ocean Alert which is owned by U.S. based Odyssey Marine Explorations will reportedly use specialized equipment to film the sea floor to find the remaining bodies as well as the aircraft’s black boxes. Odyssey is expected to provide Lebanon with a submarine to retrieve the black boxes once they are located
