In an interview with al-Manar television on Monday, Minister of State Youssef Saadeh commented on the possible meeting between Marada Movement leader MP Suleiman Franjieh and Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea by saying:

“Such a sit-down is far-fetched, especially since there is a wide gap in political views” between the two leaders.

Commenting on MP Walid Jumblatt’s visit to Syria he said : There are no preset conditions for the Progressive Socialist Party’s leader to visit to Syria. He added that “Damascus does not humiliate people.”
