Ahmad Jibril, head of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command (PFLP-GC), said his group will not surrender its weapons to the Lebanese army.
In an interview with al-Jazeera TV late Saturday, Jibril urged the Lebanese government to address Palestinian refugee issues first.
“After the Palestinians in Lebanon feel assured of their wellbeing, we will then discuss security issues,” Jibril said.
Jibril a formal captain in the Syrian army wants the cabinet to adopt a law similar to the one in Syria that deals with the political, living and social conditions of Palestinian refugees.
