Election date set in Iraq as bombs kill Scores

A series of car bombings devastated government institutions across Baghdad on Tuesday, provoking public and political denunciations of the country’s prime minister and the security forces he oversees. The attacks came as officials agreed at last to set March 7 for a national election.

At least 121 people were killed and more than 400 were wounded, according to police and hospital officials. Source: NYT
