Sunnis and Shiites differ on issue of abolishing political sectarianism

Mufti of the republic Mohammed Rashid Qabbani warned about a leaping into the unknown ( in abolishing political sectarianism) and called for a government for all Lebanese. On the other hand Deputy Head of the Higher Islamic Shiite Council Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan expressed his support for the setting up of the national committee for the abolishing confessionalism in politics “so that all Lebanese enjoy the same rights.”
