Three bomb explosions on Friday rocked a Palestinian Refugee camp near the southern Lebanese city of Sidon, the city of Sidon itself and a town in Akkar region of north Lebanon.

A bomb exploded on Friday at a garbage dump in the Ain el-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp near Sidon, wounding one person , National News Agency reported.

“The Ain el-Hilweh blast resulted from an explosive device that destroyed part of a wall on the side of a road and no casualties have been reported,” Future TV said.

NNA identified the wounded man as Mohammed Adoukhi and said he was lightly injured.

“The situation in the camp is totally calm,” NNA later reported.

OTV reported that “a dynamite stick exploded in al-Bustan neighborhood in Sidon, causing no casualties.”

In another development, NNA reported that a bomb exploded outside three shops belonging to Mohammed Barakat in the Akkar town of Burj al-Arab.

Voice of Lebanon radio (93.3) said three people were lightly injured in the explosion, revealing that a bomb expert had defused another bomb in the location.

Commenting on the explosion in Ain el-Hilweh, Fatah commander in Lebanon Munir al-Maqdah told VOL (93.3): “There is a Palestinian decision to prevent anyone from tampering with the Ain el-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp’s security and to maintain stability in coordination with the Lebanese army.”

3rd, 4th or 5th… They are Palestinians and they want to go back home. If after 50 years Palestinians cannot go home what gives the right to the Jews to go back to Israel after 5000 years? That is one…
Second, we Lebanese do not want them here… Lebanon IS OUR COUNTRY and WE ALONE decide who stays and who leaves.
      Thank you very much!

      1. Theyre welcome to “want to go home” (yeah.. to a place they never step foot), but they simply don’t suit the legal definition of a refugee.

I know Lebanon doesn’t want them, and believe me I sympathize :)))))))))))))) x
