Iran’s Supreme leader says not opposed to extension of nuclear talks

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Thursday he was not opposed to the extension of nuclear talks between the Islamic Republic and world powers, stressing that the United States, not Iran, would be the biggest loser should the nuclear talks fail.

“For the same reasons I wasn’t against negotiations, I’m also not against the extension, Khamenei was quoted as saying

He o noted that “the Iranian negotiating team is making serious effort despite the pressures it is facing .
“We accept a fair and rational agreement and there is no room for the imposition of the views of others . The US government wants to impose its own views and this is our problem with America.” He said
