The Lebanese cabinet started an extraordinary session at the Baabda palace that was preceded by a closed-door meeting between President Michel Suleiman and PM Saad Hariri .
Al-Manar TV has reported that Hariri informed the ministers about assigning a specialized ministerial committee tasked with preparing for his visit to Damascus. The committee members and their Syrian counterparts will hold their first meeting next Monday.
