Four people were wounded on Friday evening in armed clash in Beirut’s Aisha Bakkar neighborhood, and were transferred to Al-Maqassed Hospital for treatment, National News Agency reported
LBCI television reported that the clash started when an unknown assailant fired gunshots towards a group of men near the Aisha Bakkar mosque, causing several injuries.
Meanwhile, New TV reported that one man was killed in a dispute between “Kurds and another group of men in the neighborhood.”
“An army soldier was also injured in the clashes,” the same source added.
“Security forces are chasing the assailant who fled to an unknown destination,” NNA said.
