Israeli troops set fire to a forest in Lebanon, Update

Israeli troops on Wednesday set fire to a forest near the Lebanese border town of Hula , National News Agency reported

NNA added no injuries were reported

The state news agency noted that the perpetrators of the fire were stationed at the border site of Al-Abbad.

Members of the civil defense and the army are working on extinguishing the fire, NNA added.

Earlier on Wednesday, four Israeli soldiers were injured at dawn in a landmine blast after they entered 150 meters into Lebanese territory near Labouneh, an area south of Naqoura, according to NNA

Meanwhile, the Lebanese army issued a statement explaining that “an infantry patrol of the Israeli enemy penetrated 400 meters inside Lebanon in the Labouneh area at 00:24 local time… An explosion took place and the soldiers were wounded, with blood found at the scene.”
