22 million signed Egypt’s anti-Morsi petition

EGYPT-POLITICS-UNRESTMahmoud Badr, founder of Egypt’s ‘Rebel’ signature drive to force President Mohamed Morsi out of power announced Saturday that the campaign had collected over 22,000,000 signatures, surpassing its original goal of 15,000,000 before 30 June.

Badr announced the final outcome of the campaign at a news conference Saturday at the Journalists Syndicate in downtown Cairo.

‘Rebel’ is one of the main organisers of the widely-anticipated anti-government demonstrations slated for Sunday to demand Morsi’s resignation and snap elections.

Morsi supporters have dismissed the petition as invalid, insisting that only elections can decide whether a head of state stays or goes. His term of office is due to end in 2016.

The country was bracing on Saturday for the protests marking the first anniversary of Morsi’s term in office amid violence in which several people have been killed, including a young American.

Opposition protests have sparked counter-demonstrations by the Muslim Brotherhood and its Islamist allies that have triggered often bloody clashes across the country.

Morsi, 62, stands accused by his critics of failing the 2011 revolution that brought him to power.

  1. Isaiah 19 ……….
Behold, the Lord rides on a swift cloud, And will come into Egypt; The idols of Egypt will totter at His presence, And the heart of Egypt will melt in its midst.
2 “I will set Egyptians against Egyptians; Everyone will fight against his brother, And everyone against his neighbor, City against city, kingdom against kingdom. 3 The spirit of Egypt will fail in its midst; I will destroy their counsel, And they will consult the idols and the charmers, The mediums and the sorcerers. 4 And the Egyptians I will give Into the hand of a cruel master, And a fierce king will rule over them, ”Says the Lord, the Lord of hosts………………………..

Morsi will possibly flee to Europe or America and after two years he will come back to get re installed backed by Europe and America but the people of Egypt will disagree and the “battle of Alexandria” begins. If Morsi is that character in the prophesy then you will see this development

AbdAllah Bin Amr Ibn Al-Aas stated that “If you see or hear about a tyrant in a city who is overpowered by another, and flees to the Romans, then that is the beginning of the greater confrontations. The Romans will come after Muslims.” (Nuaim bin Hammad, Kitab al-Fitan)

AbdAllah Bin Amr Ibn Al-Aas stated that: “If you see a tyrant of the tyrants of the Arabs fleeing to the Romans, that will be a sign for Alexandria Battle (to occur soon with the Romans’ invasion of Egypt through Alexandria).” (Nuaim bin Hammad, Kitab al-Fitan)

Abu Zarr said the the Messenger of Allah(Peace be upon him) said: “There will be, from Bani Umayya, a man in Egypt who will succeed the Sultan (ruler). He will be overpowered or stripped of power. So, he flees to the Romans. He brings the Romans to the land of Islam. This is the beginning of the battles (with the Romans).” (Nuaim bin Hammad, Kitab al-Fitan)

Abdullah bin Rashid said that he heard his father say: “A man from Quraish of well known ancestry from his father’s and his mother’s sides will angrily flee to the Romans. So, they accept him and honor him. There are twenty months from the day he leaves to the Romans until he comes with the Romans’ ships to Alexandria…” (Nuaim bin Hammad’s Kitab al-Fitan)

Nuaim bin Hammad’s Kitab al-Fitan has the largest collection of the end time prophesy but many of them considered weak i.e. not accurately presented. I do not know whether Morsi is that man but the timeline is close when we compare the other events from the prophesy.
