The youngest son of al-Qaida leader, Osama bin Laden, left Iran in late December and is now in the Syrian capital of Damascus, the London-based Arabic daily, Asharq Al-Awsat said on Wednesday.
Bakr bin Laden, 16, had spent the last eight years in Iran before being allowed to leave for Syria, the daily said, citing Omar bin Laden, another son of the al-Qaida leader.
Omar told the daily that Bakr was reunited on 25 December with his Syrian mother, who is one of Osama bin Laden’s wives, according to AFP. Sources: Washington TV, Asharq Al-Awsat
