Syrian troops kill one student at Damascus University

Hundreds of Syrian students held a demonstration at Damascus University’s science college on Monday, students inside the campus said.

An activist said he received SMS messages that Syrian security forces had killed one student and surrounded the campus in central Damascus. It was not immediately possible to verify the report. Reuters
