Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Wednesday rejected Western suspicions that his country is seeking to build a nuclear weapon.
“It is true that the Iranian nation has a lot of enemies but we don’t need an atomic bomb to defend ourselves,” he said in an interview with Danish television, extracts of which were carried by Iran’s official IRNA news agency.
