Suleiman asked US officials for US military aid to combat terrorism

Lebanese President Michel Suleiman returned on Wednesday to Beirut, concluding an official visit to Washington where he met with U.S. President Barack Obama and top officials.

The president pressed Obama and the U.S. officials to supply Lebanon with modern and advanced weapons in order to enable it to defend its borders as well as of fighting terrorism. He also stressed during his meetings the importance of giving the Palestinian refugees their rights specially the “right of return ” to their homeland
