A Lebanese national arrested over links with ISIS

isis militant  MosulLebanese General Security on Tuesday arrested a Lebanese national over affiliation to ISIS group.

After investigations, the detainee confessed affiliation to ISIS through the group’s “Amir” in Wadi Khaled, nicknamed Abou Maaz, said Lebanon’s General Security in a statement today.

The suspect also confessed having been active within the weapon trade industry in the service of ISIS.

In the wake of investigations, the convict was transferred to the concerned judiciary apparatus. Meanwhile, work is underway pending the arrest of the other involved members, the statement added.
