The Islamic State extremist group issued a threat against  the  Lebanese Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) and six other locations  worldwide  reported An Nahar daily on Sunday.

The threat prompted the university administration to cancel an academic event that was scheduled at the campus on Sunday.

An Nahar listed the six other locations as:

3  locations in Paris, 2 in Rome, one in Indonesia

A security source told the daily that there are no specific details about the nature of the attack that the IS may make.

Lebanese authorities have however been informed of the threat and “they are taking all the necessary measures to confront every terrorist act.”

“The security forces take every rumor or piece of information seriously,” stressed the source.

This development comes  10 days after    the IS claimed responsibility for a twin suicide bombing at Beirut’s southern suburbs of Bourj al-Barajneh, a Hezbollah stronghold.

Wars used to be between Universities – with 3-legged races and egg-toss competitions.
Now it’s just War against them all … and picking on ‘the least’ first. Sad beginning to something like in Iran, where it’s up to picking on the biggest as well. Boko University Haram.
