A 30 member French delegation of state and military officials is in Lebanon to finalize the list of military equipment that should be provided by France under the $3 billion Saudi Arabian grant that was finalized earlier this month, An-Nahar newspaper reported on Wednesday

An-Nahar revealed that the list of equipment includes two kinds of helicopters, two kinds of military battleships and several ground-to-ground and air-to-air missiles in addition to short and medium-range missiles.

The Saudi grant which was first announced last year December, aims to boost the army as it struggles to contain a rising tide of violence linked to the civil war in Syria.

Ground to ground missiles won’t do the army any good. Not sure why they’d want it. Lets hope they don’t plan on ‘donating’ it to Hezbollah.

Probably so they can set up in between Arsal and Tripoli, and just lob a couple on occasion. :-)))
It’s the ‘AirToAir’ ones that are a curiosity.
Maybe to take out Assad’s jets with the helicopters?? THUMBS UP for that thinking. :-))))
