Lebanon’s EDL part-time employees go on hunger strike

Electricité du Liban hpart-time employees set a tent in the hall in the company’s headquarters in Beirut’s Corniche al-Nahr and announced a hunger strike as of Monday, National News Agency reported.

EDL part-time employees have been at odds with the company over improvements to their work conditions and have called for changing their status to full time salaried employees
