SSNP re-elects Hardane as leader

The Syrian Social Nationalist Party re-elected Assaad Hardane as party leader, the party’s press office said in a statement on Friday.

Syrian Social Nationalist Party is a secular nationalist political party operating in Lebanon, Syria and Jordan. It advocates the establishment of a Syrian nation state spanning the Fertile Crescent, including present day Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan, the Palestinian Territories, including Israel and Cyprus. It is the largest political group in Syria after the Arab Socialist Ba’ath Party, with over 100,000 members. In Lebanon, it is part of the Iranian and Syrian backed Hezbollah led March 8 Alliance.

    Such a Fertile Crescent it is too …. wars and battles ‘spring’ up to be harvested each year … ask the Red Crescent people.

    Socialist? Hmmm .. not very sociable.
    Nationalist? Hmmm … not for Lebanon.
    Syrian? Hmmmm … not entirely.
    A Party ??? Hmmm … working on it …. but sucking up someone’s money to fund it, for sure.
