Lebanese citizen Sleiman al-Ahmad, who was abducted last week and ended up in Syria, arrived in Wadi Khaled after being released earlier on Tuesday. He told local television stati0ns that he was “tortured” while being interrogated in Syria.

It is not yet clear who kidnapped Ahmad. According to local reports, he was abducted by people – who remain anonymous – and taken to Syria where he was immediately handed over to Syrian forces.

“There were clear marks of torture on Ahmad’s face, legs and hands,” MTV reported, quoting him as saying that he was “tortured” while being interrogated in Syria.

Only the ‘standard’ torture … he came out alive with all his parts intact, even if a little bruised.
