The Lebanese army said on Friday that the bomb that exploded in the southern city of Tyre at 9 am and targeted a French UNIFIL vehicle was hidden in a trash can.
The explosion injured five UNIFIL peacekeepers ( one of whom is reportedly in serious condition ) and two Lebanese passersby were hurt, the statement issued by the army reported.
