Free Syrian army kills 8 soldiers, wounds 40 in northwest Syria

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said an attack by soldiers who defected from the army attacked a military convoy on Saturday in the northwestern part of Syria, killing at least eight soldiers and wounding more than fourty. Some of the wounded are reportedly in critical condition

The observatory said in a statement received by AFP said the military convoy was traveling from village of Ghadka to Ma’arrat Idlib countryside, killing at least eight soldiers and wounded more than forty wounds of a lot of them seriously.”

Over 20000 officers and soldiers defected from the army and joined the Free Syrian army whose leader is based in Turkey
