The United States has no plans for now to expel the Syrian ambassador to Washington after recalling the U.S. ambassador to Damascus, a U.S. official said on Monday.
Asked if the Obama administration would force Syrian Ambassador Imad Moustapha to leave the United States, a U.S. official said: “Not at this time.”
