Parliament committee discusses amendments to energy plan

The joint parliamentary committees discussed during their meetings at parliament the amendments proposed by opposition MPs concerning the electricity draft bill presented by Energy Minister Gebran Bassil, which was recently amended and approved by the cabinet, LBC television reported on Monday

LBC added that the amendments were proposed by Lebanese Forces bloc MP Georges Adwan and Future bloc MP Ghazi Youssef and approved by March 14 MPs.

MTV reported that the committees’ session on the energy plan will be adjourned until Wednesday.

    And after Wednesday they can amend the amended amendments … by the light of the candles on their desks perhaps.
    (Later contemplations)….
    Remembering how some women react to candlelight around a bath-tub … maybe that’s the reason passions run so high. Hmmmmm… Somebody needs to find that elusive and unseen electricity fast !!
    ( Ah yes … a group of candles in front of a mirror … she will be pleased ..)
