MP Houri accuses Syrian Ambassador of role in kidnappings

March 14 MP Ammar Houri accused Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdel Karim Ali of involvement in the kidnapping of Syrian opposition figures.

Syrian national Shebli Ayssami, one of the founders of the Arab Baath Socialist Party, reportedly disappeared in Lebanon in May, 2011 and his whereabouts are still unknown.

Last week, the US Treasury Department slapped sanctions on Ali, adding new pressure on the embattled regime of Assad.

Houri told Saudi newspaper Okaz that it is not surprising that the cabinet is “silent” regarding Syrian developments because it is Hezbollah’s cabinet.

“What is happening in Syria is part of the Arab Spring which began in Tunisia.”

The MP also condemned the Syrian regime’s “violence against the unarmed Syrian people.”

    of course with the help of their puppets HA, who doesnot represent anything Lebanese rather they have no honor nor pride of their country.

      their honour, pride [if they have one] and loyalty only to the murshed in iran, the leader of wilayat al faqeeh.
      these pple do not care about non-shia lebanese, they have showed their preperation to commit any criminal activity for the eyes of the murshed in iran.

      i cannot believe i was sucked in by these pple believing they are true heros of the arab world, that they are truely care about the palestinian and the muslim issue.  little did i know that they had no intention whatsoever to change things rather they have used that to their advantage.

      they are not only traitors but decievers, thieves and criminals and i pray that Allah will help us getting rid of their filth.
