More than one hundred families are fleeing from Syria to Lebanon every day Ash-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper reported on Tuesday
According to the report the exodus to Lebanon is caused by the Syrian brutal crackdown in the e border villages. The security forces are reportedly arresting men under the age of fifty as well as vandalizing the communities.
As-Sharq Al-Awsat source said that rallies in support of the Syrian people will be taking place on Tuesday night in different Lebanese villages and it is likely that the Syrians that have taken refuge in these villages will join the protests.
Tens of thousands of Syrians have taken refuge in Lebanon and Turkey since the uprising began in mid March.
