Syria: Protest over the killing of 13 year old Hamza al Khateeb

Syrian Human rights groups reported today that 12 protesters were killed Friday by the security forces.

The group identified the killings as follows:

4 in Daraa rural village called Daail

3 in Damascus rural village of Qatna

3 in Adleb

1 in Zabadani

1 in Homs

Meanwhile the Facebook group, The Syrian Revolution 2011, which boasts more than 180,000 followers and which has emerged as the organizing force behind the demonstrations that have been demanding “freedom” in Syria has called for nationwide protests this Saturday against the killing of Hamza al Khateeb

Hamza is a 13 years old boy from “Al Jeezah” or “Al Giza” village in Daraa province. His tragedy started when he marched with his family in a rally to break the siege of the city of Daraa. He was detained among hundreds of Syrian during the massacre of Siada.

After weeks of absence Hamza was returned to his family as a dead body with torture marks and with his genitals removed. Yes his body was full of torture marks and bullets !! They cut his genitals then they killed him according to his autopsy he was shot down after cutting his genitals.

Iranians in Syria

Washington post has quoted unnamed US officials as saying that Iran has been sending trainers and consultants to Syria to help the Syrian regime in its brutal crackdown against the protesters ,

The paper also reported that this is in addition to special equipment the Iranians sent to the Syrian authorities to help them in identifying the protesters that use Facebook and Twitter and pursuing them
