Syrian tanks deployed throughout the country to confront the protesters who declared this Friday as the “day of defiance”
Syrian revolution 2011 the Facebook group which has emerged as the organizing force behind the demonstrations reported that at least five people were shot and killed by the Syrian Security forces in the coastal city of Latakia which has been witnessing huge protests in the past weeks .
The protest and the killings reportedly took place in the Raml el Falastini ( (Palestinian Sand) neighborhood
Ya Libnan reported earlier based on witnesses that 15 protesters were killed today in Syria’s third largest city Homs.
