Internal Security Forces (ISF) had to stop demolition of illegally constructed building in the Adloun area near the town of Abou al-Aswad in southern Lebanon on Tuesday because the local residents overpowered and took over a bulldozer that was used for that purpose.
The residents also blocked the town’s main road with rocks and burning tires to prevent ISF from reaching the illegal construction sites .
The ISF then contacted Amal Movement and Hezbollah, which both agreed to cooperate by sending their members to accompany the ISF units, during the demolition of illegal construction
