The Miknas Food S.A.L the franchisee for McDonald’s fast food chain in Lebanon issued a statement on Thursday denying that the warehouse that caught on fire outside Beirut earlier in the day belonged to McDonald’s.
“The fire that erupted was not in the McDonald’s Hazmieh branch or in any warehouse that belongs to the restaurant,” the statement said.
The National News Agency reported on Thursday that a fire erupted at a McDonalds’s warehouse near the Sayyad roundabout in the Beirut suburb of Hazmieh on Thursday.
According to updated reports there was fire at the Sayyad roundabout but was too far away to reach McDonald’s
