Lebanon’s caretaker Prime Minister Saad Hariri wept at his father’s grave Monday as hundreds gathered to mark the sixth anniversary of the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.
The investigation into who killed Rafik Hariri, still unresolved, has divided this Arab nation.
Saad Hariri was ousted as prime minister last month, but is serving as a caretaker until a new government is formed.
Rafik Hariri was killed in a massive truck bombing in Beirut in 2005. An international tribunal set up to try his killers has yet to identify the perpetrators.
The tribunal is widely expected to accuse Hezbollah members of involvement in the killing. The Shiite militant group and its allies walked out of the previous government after Saad Hariri refused to denounce the tribunal. AP
