National Dialogue talks postponed till Nov 4

The Lebanese national dialogue talks will convene on November 4 at 11:00 am at the presidential palace in Baabda, according to the presidential press office.

The last national dialogue session aimed at discussing the defense strategy took place on August 18 at the summer presidential palace in Beiteddine , el Shouf of Mt Lebanon.

At the end of the last session it was decided that the next session should take place on October 19, but because of the visit by the Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad the session was postponed.

Very few people in Lebanon count on these dialogue sessions to produce any tangible results, on the other hand they see them as a venue for reducing tension in Lebanon

    Postpone it forever, for what use it is (haj dehek al alam baka we maskhara ,byikgi maktaa bil alam min ibla shiia bi libnin ) didnt you see the iranian flags and some tiny shy Lebanese flag, i think with all the show of force in the airport with Najjad visit , even soem of Aoun representative were astonished ( READ ALI HMADE IN MAKALT ANNAHAR) FROM THE VIEW OF THE Shiite in Lebanon and their support for foreign state, the wisdom say now ,Sunni and Chrsitian and maybe Druze should open different Airport and let eh Shiite in Lebanon on their own, as for now they are not accepting Lebanon anymore as their state they want Khomeini ruling
