Lebanon PM hosts a lunch in honor of Ahmadinejad

Prime Minister Saad Hariri is currently hosting a lunch in honor of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad at the Grand Serail according to a statement issued by the PMโ€™s press office on Thursday.

President Michel Suleiman, Speaker Nabih Berri, Phalange Party leader Amin Gemayel, Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun, the Iranian delegation as well as several other ministers and and MPs are attending the lunch.

Ahmadinejad arrived in Beirut on Wednesday morning on his first official visit to Lebanon

Earlier today Ahmadinejad hosted a breakfast and visited the Lebanese University where he was presented with an honorary doctorate in political science.

Update: Prior to the lunch a closed meeting took place between Ahmadinejad, Suleiman, Hariri and Berri according to Hezbollah’s al Manar TV. No details were released about the discussions

LBC reported that Lebanon Justice Minister Ibrahim Najjar will join President Michel Suleiman and speaker Nabih Berri in accompanying Ahmadinejad in his visit to Bint Jbeil in south Lebanon this afternoon

    Who else but a Lebanese university would grant that moron a doctorate degree? I worked on mine for 3 years after Masters and he gets it in a three days visit… He must be really smart! ๐Ÿ˜›
