Protests in south Lebanon against water,power problems

LBC television reported on Sunday that hundreds of angry residents in south Lebanon protested against power cuts in the region, causing bumper-to-bumper traffic at the Zahrani crossroads. They used tires and huge barricades.

Earlier today also residents of the southern Lebanese village of Nabatiyeh Fawqa demonstrated in front of the town’s water utility headquarters to demand a solution to their water shortage.
