NBN TV on Sunday quoted an anonymous source as saying that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is expected to visit Lebanon upon the receipt of an official invitation.
According to the report, Assad and President Michel Suleiman would chair a session of the Syrian-Lebanese Higher Council during the former’s visit.
