Lebanon MP: What Hariri said in Lebanon will say in Washington

In an interview published in As-sharq al-Awsat newspaper on Saturday, Lebanese MP Okab Sakr responded to the attempts by Syria’s allies to mar Prime Minister Saad Hariri’s upcoming visit to the US

“Hariri’s believes are firm and deep-rooted,” the MP was quoted as saying. “What Hariri has said in Lebanon, he will say in Washington, Paris and Syria.”

Sakr said the prime minister puts Lebanon’s interest first and wants to “establish the best relations with friendly countries.”
