President Michel Suleiman praised on Monday both the defense and interior ministries ” for their efforts in completing the second phase of the municipal elections (Beirut and the Bekaa) in a calm and democratic atmosphere , as in the first stage and in maintaining safe elections,” the president urged Lebanese political leaders to put the election day behind them and to accept election results and get started with the development plans that were promised during the campaigns
