Army hunting criminals in Bekaa, one soldier injured

An army patrol came under heavy gunfire during a raid on the house of a wanted man in Majdel Anjar in the Bekaa Valley. At least one member of the Lebanese Army is reported as injured. The army seized a number of stolen cars and an amount of illegal materials during a raid on the hideouts of a number of fugitives in Baalbek’s Britel. The army has cordoned off the area, and is taking measures to pursue the perpetrators. (Naharnet)
