A luncheon was hosted by the Turkish-Lebanese Business Council in Istanbul on Tuesday in honor of Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri
In his address to the council Hariri said his government would work hard on signing a free trade agreement between the two countries and they would achieve success on it.
“Turkey and Lebanon have a common goal of achieving economic prosperity and improving economic relations in the region,” Hariri said.
Lebanese prime minister said he wanted Turkish businessmen to invest in Lebanon and make good use of opportunities in his country.
“The private sector can be improved by support of the government. I am working to create these conditions,” he said.
Lifting of visa procedure between Turkey and Lebanon was a concrete and important step for the two countries, Hariri added.
