Iran’s Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani says the Islamic Republic supports Lebanon’s Hezbollah and the Palestinian Hamas movement. “The Islamic Republic of Iran supports Hezbollah and Hamas because they are defending their countries’ territories,” IRNA quoted Larijani as saying on Thursday. He noted that some countries claim that these movements are terrorists and object Iran’s support for them.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran does not conceal its support for Hamas and Hezbollah and we openly declare that we support them,” Iran’s Majlis speaker stated.
