During a conference on municipalities on Saturday, Free Patriotic Movement leader MP Michel Aoun said Lebanon is exposed to numerous international pressures that aim to destabilize the country. He urged the citizen to be patient until “we overcome the current crises”
He also said that the money allocated to the municipalities for projects by the state, which amounts to 2-trillion LL, has not been distributed.
“The FPM will work hard to ensure the money will be distributed,” Aoun added.
Aoun also said some of the large municipalities can barely afford to pay the salaries of the emlployees
