General Nadim Lteif announced Wednesday his resignation from the Free Patriotic Movement because the leader of the movement MP Michel Aoun did respond to the recommendations he (LTEIF) presented for reforming FPM.
Lteif handed his resignation letter to Secretary General of FPM, Toni Mukhaiber on June 12 .
Lteif is a member of the Movement of FFM Elders, which includes in addition to Lteif, Major General Issam Abu Jamra, Judge Youssef Saadallah Khoury and Judge Salim Al Azar.
Lteif, served as Aoun’s personal representative in Lebanon when the General was in exile in Paris
