Former president Donald Trump ( R) praised Russian president Vladimir Putin ( L) and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un during his most recent interview with Elon Musk on X. Trump is proving himself to be Anti-Capitalist as he continues to bully American business and praise the Communist leaders. This is why many now think Trump is a communist by heart and is unfit to lead the Western world. Trump’s former Chief of Staff, John Kelly strongly believes that Trump believes he could run the country best as a fascist.

Retired Gen. John Kelly, who served as White House chief of staff under former President Donald Trump, told The New York Times his old boss believes he could run the country best as a fascist.

In an audio released on Tuesday, Kelly said Trump fits the profile of a far-right authoritarian and that he believed the former president would govern as such if elected to a second term.

On CNN’s AC360, host Anderson Cooper recited part of a report from The Atlantic published Tuesday in which Trump was alleged to have previously asked why his generals were not loyal to him in the manner Hitler’s were.

Cooper then played an audio recording in which Kelly explained fascism from his perspective and how he thought Trump viewed the ideology. Kelly said:

Well, looking at the definition of fascism: It’s a far-right authoritarian, ultranationalist political ideology and movement characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, and belief in a natural social hierarchy. So certainly, in my experience, those are the kinds of things that he thinks would work better in terms of running America.

Kelly also told the Times, “Certainly, the former president is in the far-right area, he’s certainly an authoritarian, admires people who are dictators — he has said that. So, he certainly falls into the general definition of fascist, for sure.” Kelly added:

“He certainly prefers the dictator approach to government,” Kelly concluded, adding Trump “never accepted the fact that he wasn’t the most powerful man in the world — and by power, I mean an ability to do anything he wanted, anytime he wanted,” Mr. Kelly said.

Writing for The AtlanticJeffrey Goldberg reported:

“Former generals who have worked for Trump say that the sole military virtue he prizes is obedience. As his presidency drew to a close, and in the years since, he has become more and more interested in the advantages of dictatorship, and the absolute control over the military that he believes it would deliver.

“I need the kind of generals that Hitler had,” Trump said in a private conversation in the White House, according to two people who heard him say this. “People who were totally loyal to him, that follow orders.”
