MP Nadim Gemayel commented on the border clashes between the Iranian backed Hezbollah militia and Israel by saying
“Woe to the nation whose peace and war, its fate and the fate of its people are decided in the hands of Iran and its cronies at home.”
He pointed out, in a statement on social media, that “firing rockets from Lebanese territory will not eliminate Israel and will not serve the Palestinian cause. Rather, it will attract calamity and destruction to Lebanon, and will threaten the security, safety, lives, and future of the Lebanese people.”
He made the statement as Lebanon awaits the speech of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah
