Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasralllah addressed his followers about the war in Gaza in a televised speech from an unknown location
He praised Hamas’ October 7 surprise attack against Israel and claimed it was 100% Palestian decision
” The decision of this great and blessed battle was 100% Palestinian and those who did it concealed it from the other Palestinian factions and the forces in the region.”
Nasrallah blamed the US for what is happening in Gaza
America is fully responsible for the ongoing war in Gaza and Israel is only an executional tool.
“America, the Great Satan, is responsible for all the massacres and the current and previous centuries, he added
You Americans can stop the aggression against Gaza because it is your aggression,” Nasrallah stressed and added
“Your fleets will not scare us and have never scared us, and we have also prepared what is needed to confront them.
” I tell the Americans that their threats against us and against the resistance movements are futile. “
Nasrallah praised Hezbollah’s ongoing operations along the Lebanese borders with Israel.
“We have already joined the battle since October 8th”, he said.
“Some might find what is happening on our front to be moderate, but if you look at it objectively, you will find it to be important and very big,” he said
“The resistance’s operations in the South tell the enemy that if it carries out an aggression or thinks of waging a preemptive operation, it will be committing the biggest foolishness in its history”, he added
” The operations on the border created a state of concern, anticipation, panic, and fear for the enemy’s political and military leadership, who fear that this front might go to further escalation or a broad war, and this is a realistic and possible scenario that the enemy should take into consideration.”
“What is happening on our front is very important and influential”, he said
Nasrallah ignored the appeals by Hamas to expand Hezbollah’s border operations, but said “All the options on our Lebanese front are open and we might go to any choice at any time.”
Commenting on the war in Gaza, Nasrallah said
What’s happening in Gaza does not resemble the rest of the wars. This a decisive and historic battle and this obliges everyone to shoulder responsibility.”
Nasrallah praised the attacks against US bases by the Iran proxies in Iraq and Yemen
The U.S. bases in Iraq and Syria are coming under the resistance’s attacks and this is a wise and brave decision”, he said
The Oct. 7 operation paved the way for a new era in the region.” He said describing Israel as weak
“This U.S. rush to support and assist Israel has exposed this entity’s weakness and failure, he said” and added “The Israelis now believe more than me that Israel is weaker than a spider’s web.”
He added: “Al-Aqsa Flood exposed the weakness of Israel.”
Ali Hussein, a Lebanese political observer commented on Nasrallah’s speech by saying ” Nasrallah chickened out big time, his speech will be a huge disappointment for Hamas” ,
Samir Geagea the head of the Lebanese Forces commented before Nasrallah’s speech by saying
“Nasarallah will lie a little in his speech” and added
“War does not lead to any actual result . We need a real solution to the Palestinian cause.”
He added that the “Axis of Resistance has done nothing that served the cause. “It’s not about speeches, but rather about giving the Palestinians their rights back,” he said.
