Lebanon, officially known as the Lebanese Republic, is celebrating its 73rd independence day .
The Lebanese Independence Day is a national day celebrated in remembrance of the 1943 liberation from the French Mandate .
The day is usually marked with a speech to the nation by the president and a military parade in downtown Beirut, attended by the country’s political leadership.
This is not the first time Google celebrates Lebanon’s independence with a doodle
