Syria’s FSA leader calls Russia’s Putin a ‘Terrorist’ and ‘liar’

gereral idris defGeneral Salmin Idris, the leader of the Free Syria Army (FSA) , called Vladimir Putin a terrorist today after the Russian president said that allegations of a August 21 chemical weapons attack in the suburbs of Damascus was a “provocation” by Syrian rebels.

“President Putin is lying,” Gen. Idriss told Fox News. “He knows exactly that the regime is killing our citizens … and is using Russian weapons and ammunition, tanks, [and] Scud missiles to destroy all the liberated areas. This man, President Putin, is a terrorist. And he is trying now to deceive the international community.”

The actions of both men provide context to the controversial statements.

Russia has staunchly backed Assad in numerous ways during the 29-month conflict, and Putin has denied each reported chemical attack or blamed them on the rebels.

Idris has said that the FSA’s top priority is getting weapons for the West as well as “stopping the aerial bombardment but also the importation of weapons and military personnel from Russia and Iran.”

That is precisely what a U.S. strike could accomplish, which is one reason why Putin is working to prevent it.

Idriss has also been overseeing the Syrian opposition’s “southern strategy,” which involves bolstering Western-vetted troops with Saudi weapons around Damascus as reported by Interpreter Magazine Editor-in-Chief Michael D. Weiss.

Weiss notes that the towns integral to this FSA buildup “are located in Eastern Ghouta district,” which was gassed on August 21 and has been gassed before.

The same applies to Kuwait as an historical province of Iraq .Lebanon own his existence to Sykes-Picot secret colonial manipulations. Once mutual respect is achieved, then good luck to them from a Lebanese point of view, if they want to keep going the way they are, then the hell with them. To answer your question, if syria does break up into smaller pieces and live under the Zionist regime, then good luck to them. Its not my concern. You make your bed you must now lay in it. You can pull some foreign fighter from Iran and from few other places. The sunnis are 93% world wide and the rest Alawite,Sufi,Shia,Kadiani,Ismaely etc are 7% combined. Now you are tiny minority challanging the huge majority with foreign backing. I think it is not viable in the long run. You can be roasted in the end.So wise up and try to live with the majority and do not boss around with your borrowed manhood.Use you own even if it is tiny …

    Although I am against the criminal Bashar and want him to leave ASAP, the problem is that his leaving is going to leave Syria in a vaccum, because the opposition is not united (ideologically and politically – only one thing unites them: Bashar), so if Bashar goes the opposition itself is going to be divided and start fighting each other (between the extremists and sunni jihadists from one side and on the other side the FSA and the seculars). So only a political negotiation is going to save Syria based on an organized exit of Assad and transfer of power to a temporary government and reunification of the army. Otherwise, this conflict may last much longer than we expect….

    Although I am against the criminal Bashar and want him to leave ASAP, the problem is that his leaving is going to leave Syria in a vaccum, because the opposition is not united (ideologically and politically – only one thing unites them: Bashar), so if Bashar goes the opposition itself is going to be divided and start fighting each other (between the extremists and sunni jihadists from one side and on the other side the FSA and the seculars). So only a political negotiation is going to save Syria based on an organized exit of Assad and transfer of power to a temporary government and reunification of the army. Otherwise, this conflict may last much longer than we expect….

    Must we (USA) wait longer and watch as innocent children are killed by Assad and his foreign henchmen (Iran, Hezbollah, Russia)?….it was bad enough already that Assad uses fighter jets against FSA…but to use gas says he feels he can do what he wants…lets attack now….!

      You must have been sleeping the last couple of days. There is ample evidence that shows that the chemical weapons were used by FSA terrorist. And BTW, the US know what will happen if they attack. You will get a good old fashion ass kicking. The days of the pathetic US sticking their filthy nose other people’s business is over.         You won’t see ‘PeaceForLeb’ until everyone agrees that’s what they want.
        The problem for the USA is trying to figure out how to run a ‘nice’ war … which is a practical impossibility. They haven’t quite managed it yet.
        We know how they COULD ‘kick ass’. It’s only IF they want be as messy with it as the Talibanis and Al-Q’s like to be with their pathetic little car-bombs, the propagandist ‘head-chopping’ to keep ‘the people’ in line.
        So far, some ‘peacenicks’ have held back the ‘war-dogs’. But if someone keeps prodding, they may break the leash. I am sure some keep prodding just to do that – and then they can say ‘bad Americans’ again.
        In ‘Hezzy-land’ in the south, some palestinians from their own ‘camp’ decided the other day to have a wedding close to their border … bad choice. Hezzy-black-shirts, now afraid that any car could be a bomb (because their rhetoric can’t protect them), wanted to ‘inspect’ the wedding cars (harrass everyone in their hood) … the pals said ‘no’ – screw off, we’re having a party … and a shooting war started. Too bad the army stepped in again … only 4 wounded and one dead … special pics to treasure for the wedding-day – of a couple who, I am sure, did not want any war in it.
