Al-Qaeda’s second in command, Atiyah Abd Al-Rahman, is reported to have been killed in Pakistan, possibly by a US drone strike in North Waziristan.

US drones fired four missiles on August the 2nd at two different targets bordering Afghanistan believed to be a stronghold of militants of different terrorist groups. Atiyah had earlier believed to have been killed in a drone strike last year, but information collected from the home of late al-Qaeda chief, Osama bin Laden, showed that he was still live.
