Syrian activists said that the death toll of Friday’s anti-regime protests in Syria rose to 58, Al-Arabiya TV reported, adding that eye witnesses said around 250 tanks are surrounding Hama.
Syrian activists quoted residents fleeing Syria’s Hama as saying that the regime’s crackdown in Hama has killed “at least 300 civilians during the past six days,” the report said
At least 2000 pro-democracy protesters have been killed according to activists since the uprising erupted in Mid March against the Syrian regime of president Bashar al Assad
